Where we are in the Bible...

At Emmanuel Baptist Church, we are committed to teaching and preaching the Word of God with consistency and clarity.

Sunday School | 10:00 AM

Pastor Wakefield is teaching a series that covers the life of Moses entitled, "Shew Me Thy Glory." In Exodus 33:18, Moses makes a request to God: "And he said, I beseech thee, shew me thy glory." This study is concerned with seeing the glory of God through the life of Moses and in the history of Israel as we walk through the book of Exodus and highlight important episodes in the life of Moses.

Sunday Mornings | 11:00 AM

On Sunday Mornings, Pastor Wakefield is preaching a series based upon our 2025 theme entitled "BEING CONFIDENT." Taken from Philippians 1:6, each study is a topical selection that speaks to the believer's confidence in the Savior, the Scriptures, and strength in service.

Sunday Evenings | 6:30 PM

New! Beginning on Sunday Evening, March 16th, Pastor Wakefield is going to begin a new series in the book of Jeremiah. The theme for this study is "Compassion Without Compromise." We are going to journey with Jeremiah through his prophecy as we learn what it means to take a stand for truth in an ever-changing culture. Jeremiah was sent to call rebellious Israel and Judah to repentance and back to God. He had a heart of compassion but he was committed to his conviction of truth.

Wednesdays | 7:30 PM

"I can count it ALL joy, because I can count on Jesus!" On Wednesdays, Pastor Wakefield is taking us through a verse-by-verse study of Paul's letter to the Philippians. Writing from prison, the apostle Paul shows the believer that it is possible to maintain joy no matter the circumstances.

Launch: Young Singles Class

Sundays at 10:00 AM, our new group "LAUNCH" meets. This group consists of Young Singles and College Age students that are looking to create godly friendships as they walk through the uncharted waters of single adulthood.

Bro. Cody Scott and his wife Hannah have been a tremendous blessing to this new group at Emmanuel Baptist Church.

In addition to weekly Sunday classes, the Launch: Young Singles holds a monthly fellowship meeting toward the end of each month.

Finding the Way to Eternal Life

We want you to know that you can have a personal relationship with God through Jesus Christ!  And today is that day.

Recognize Your Condition

"For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God" (Romans 3:23).

"For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord" (Romans 6:23).

Good Works Are NOT the Answer

"For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast" (Ephesians 2:8-9).

The Good News - Jesus Died and Rose Again to Provide the Way to Eternal Life!

"But God commendeth [meaning proved] his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us" (Romans 5:8).

Believe on Jesus Christ

"That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved" (Romans 10:9).

Jeremy P. Wakefield

My Friends,

I don't even know where to begin but to tell you that I am honored that God would allow me to be put in trust with such a fine group of people. Emmanuel Baptist Church is one of the great churches that God has built by His grace and for His glory. I am delighted to be your pastor. It is my heart's desire to be the best that I can be as a servant leader and though I may fail, always remember, Jesus never fails! At Emmanuel Baptist Church we will trust God, together grow, and take the gospel because God is with us.

Love in Christ,
Jeremy P. Wakefield
