Studies in Colossians
Pastor Wakefield is beginning a new series in Paul's letter to the Colossians. Join us on Wednesdays for our midweek service at 7:30 PM. We have prayer at the altar to open the service, congregation singing from the hymn book, the choir sings a few songs, and then we open up the Word of God.
Recognize Your Condition
"For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God" (Romans 3:23).
"For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord" (Romans 6:23).
Good Works Are NOT the Answer
"For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast" (Ephesians 2:8-9).
The Good News - Jesus Died and Rose Again to Provide the Way to Eternal Life!
"But God commendeth [meaning proved] his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us" (Romans 5:8).
Believe on Jesus Christ
"That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved" (Romans 10:9).
